Inquiry (采购产品): Welding Shield We are looking for a company that could or would make a ceramic disc approximately 5" in diameter and 1/8" thick with a hole in the center about 1 5/8" in dia. and 6 ea. 9/32 holes equally spaced on a 4 1/2" bolt circle. This disc would be used as a weld splatter shield in a mig welding operation. My company makes wheels for the lawn and garden industry to the tune of 25,000 per day. In our process, we make aproximately 75,000 mig welds every day and weld splatter is a big problem. We are trying to develop some type of shield to deflect the splatter away from the inside of the wheel but cannot come up with a material that will with stand the heat. If this shield works, we would probably purchase approximately 2,000 disc per year from this location and we are only one location of 5 or 6 that could be interested.
