Our team has a lot of experience in various fields of structural steel namely design, detailing, shop & site experience. In this short time frame, we have produced approximately about 550 tonnes of shop drawings & other related support drawings. The Project was detailed in US standards. We have so far completed 2 projects outsourced to us by another Indian firm working for the US market). We have a team of 8 members and carry a wide area of experience and expertise gained during each individual’s tenure with different organizations, some of which include a. Delivery Model Based on our clients' requirements, we provide detailed drawing in form of .dwg, .plt or PDF. Various software generated reports (BOM, ABM etc.) are provided along with the 3D model depending on the specific need of our clients. In addition to this, our support center works 24/7 to incorporate US timings also. This detailing capability is supported by an in-house team of some 2 experienced structural design engineers utilizing state of the art design packages. The size, capability and specialized experience of the engineering resource within the company enable it to offer a comprehensive engineering solution to any project structural challenge. The preferred strategy is to work as part of an integrated team to review and optimize the design and establishes clarity and certainty of the details, which greatly enhances efficient, and effective project delivery and project cost. As part of the company's significant engineering capacity a number of bespoke computers design and detailing aides and project management interface tools are utilized enhancing overall project delivery capabilities. SESS specializes in providing innovative engineering solutions in the area of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional structures etc. in conventional and pre engineered metal buildings. With our in-depth experience, ability, and resources; we provide effective and sound structural design solutions and detailing services as per AISC, BS and IS standards Steel Detailing Steel Detailing is the process of converting design drawings (engineering/contract drawings) to shop drawings. This involves Detailing of members for their interconnectivity & assembly so as to facilitate easy and speedy fabrication of structural members in shop. SERVICES INCLUDE ? Connection Design Methodology High level teams headed by a Project Manager study the contact drawings. The Project Manager and the Project Leader focus on the engineering aspect and the completeness of the project. The Project Manager interacts with the Customer regularly to get all the necessary clarifications. The Project Manager also decides on the use of 2D or 3D software based on the complexity of the project and customer requirements. The project team works with the Design team to complete the connection designs. The project team prepares AB plans and E-plans for approval. Upon Customer approving E-plans, shop drawings are prepared and sent to Quality Team for checking and customer delivery. 2D Structural Steel Detailing Projects with lesser complexity where customer does need CNC outputs and projects involving large number of miscellaneous items are carried out using AutoCAD 2002. 3D Structural Steel Detailing We have extensive knowledge in the use of Tekla Structures (X – Steel – version – 8 to 11) Quality Control The shop drawings prepared using Autocad are checked and coordinated at two stages, first by the project QC team and then by the OQC team. With 3D detailing, the model is first verified by the QC team and the OQC team before generating the drawings. All the drawings are checked by the QC and the OQC team to eliminate any errors and to ensure that the drawings are in accordance with the customer's requirement. Benefits ?
