We are exploring the opportunity to present our idea for improvement of the design of the traditional chain binder used by the flatbed trucking industry. We began the process of pursuing a patent and it did pass the research phase which means that nobody else has or is looking to patent this idea. We are currently debating whether or not to continue to pursue the patent, or as many people have suggested, simply take our idea directly to a manufacturer.
