U-tubes shall be heat treated(bend plus 200mm of leg), and hydrostatically tested after bending. Heat chart and hydro test certificate will be required. ? U-bends to be acid passivated (pickled) after heat treatment ? The tolerance for the centre to centre distance between parallel legs of the U-Tubes shall be as follows ≤ 5 x the nominal tube O.D +/- 1mm > 5 x the nominal tube O.D +/- 1.5mm ? Tubes to be clearly stenciled with heat & serial number, Spec, and mill mark. ? Tubes to be certified to ISO 10474 3.1B or approved equiv. ? Tubes to be securely packed in a seaworthy/roadworthy crate preventing ingress of salt laden air. ? Client has requested that the country of origin for all materials to be limited to the following: USA, Europe, Japan, or Korea. Alternate sources shall be rejected ?
