I understand that you manufacture / sell such. I have seen solenoids presented on various web page sites. However the technical language which I find hardly give a description which I can understand. What I need is a solenoid which uses 110 volts, AC (American household) and can deliver a thrust of about 5 pounds over a distance of about 1? inch. I would be happier if the movement of the thrust could be even over its course, so that it will not produce a burst of energy. Also, the smaller the solenoid, the better.
