Inquiry (采购产品): Boiler water level control Im a trainee marine engineer working onboard an LNG carrier. Main propulsion is supplied by 2 Mitsui Foster Wheeler D type boilers, producing 6MPa steam pressure. During a recent oral examination, i was questioned on types of boiler water level control methods. I am only familar with one type, where a differential pressure transmitter is used with steam pressure acting on one side through a variable leg, and a condencing pot, and water pressure acting on the other side through a reference leg. I am keen to know what other methods of water level control are utilised. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.
