Our North American operation is located in Elgin, Illinois, with global HQ in Germany. Due to tremendous growth in the US wind turbine industry we are looking for competitive, reliable and quality domestic suppliers, as opposed to our current European suppliers. We are looking for the following requirements per our conversation today. Please note the items shown are individual length pieces. We are willing to buy upto two year’s worth of requirement, with firm PO, in one shot with deliveries over 12 month period. Please quote both individual saw cut pieces as shown below as well as full length bars (specify the length) that make up the pieces noted below. Quote should be based on annual usage shown below and should be firm and fix for 2007 and 2008. Delivery to commence January, 2007 with monthly shipment as noted below. Our primary interest is to buy these parts finish machined - turned. However, before we can send you prints we need you to call us to indicate your interest level as well as your capability, then we will send you prints for finish machined parts. 1. Planet Carrier Pin - Dwg #8114631 220 mm diameter x 483 mm long. Material C60+N (German Werkstoff -NR 1.0601). Equivalent to AISI 1060 material. Quantity 2,400 pieces in Year 2007, same in 2008 -- avg. 198 pieces/month delivery. 2. Torque Arm pin - Dwg # 8112058 200 mm diameter x 670 mm long. Material 34CrniMo6 (German Werkstoff - NR 1.6582). Equivalent to AISI 4340 material. Quantity 1,600 pieces in Year 2007, same in 2008 -- avg. 132 piecs/month delivery.
