Inquiry (采购产品): Detailing Dear Sir I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Tim Krueger, and am the Senior Project Coordinator at Seacad. I know we have not yet quoted detailing jobs in the past with Superior Structural Corp., and would welcome the opportunity to do so in the future. I understand and can relate to your natural hesitation in placing a detailing job with a new company, especially one that is overseas. I personally have been in the structural design field for 20 years in the United States. It is on those counts that I would like to assure you of our competence in handling complex structures. Please allow me to familiarize you with our company. Phil Martin is the owner and Managing Director of Seacad and has been involved with structural steel since 1978 when he started work as a draughtsman at a company called Watson's in the north of England. Detailing was a pencil and paper job back then of course and after 7 years detailing he moved on to Engineering design when he left Watson's in 1985 to prepare design calcs in various consultancy offices around the Manchester region. In 1986 he qualified as an Incorporated Engineer of the Institution of Structural Engineers in the UK. Between 85 and 94’, Phil Martin worked for fabricators on design and detailing depending on needs, Consulting Engineers on connection design, primary design and structural analysis. He worked on construction sites overseeing erection of projects for ICI. He carried out remedial repair schemes on a series of large aircraft hangars belonging to British Aerospace throughout the north of England. He has done site surveying, constructed 3 stone terraced houses, and been involved in a very wide rang of activities relating to construction both office and site based. Phil Martin formed Seacad in 96 in Malaysia after spending 1995 working as a steel specialist training other staff in the use of Xsteel in Singapore and then Malaysia. Xsteel was launched in the UK in June 94 and he started using it in Nov 94 as the first user outside the UK. It has proven to be a very effective tool in detailing. We now have 12 licenses and have covered a wide range of steel structures across the globe. Our staff is also well experienced in the use of Xsteel with and average usage of about 4 years each, some more some less. We detail simple to highly complex structures and references are available for jobs we have completed. We have also detailed 'hyperbolic paraboloid' roof structures for airport terminals, we detailed the Kingdom Centre 'Sculpture' in Riyadh and many more. I have PDF images of all these structures and would be glad to post them on our FTP if you want to view in detail. Please advise if you want to download. Furthermore Mr. Martin would be glad to meet you and your staff in person if you wish to clarify any technical concerns you may have before placing a detailing package with us.
