Inquiry (采购产品): High Volume Seal Quotation PerkinElmer is an OEM manufacturer of high performance static exotic metal seals that are used in automotive, aerospace, Semi-Conductor and Power Generation Industries. However, we have the necessary know how to manufacture a high mixture of components but in relatively low volume as rolled and stretch formed seals... But I am looking for a partner who can work with us to manufacture products in high production that is 1M-5M annually for a growing market. We currently manufacture the our stretch formed seals using the following methods: 1) start with Inconel grade 718 (0.005" thickness) foil that is 12"-20" wide (variable). 2) we cut the foil prior to the forming around a mandrel (about 4.45" dia) 3) then butt seam plasma or tig weld the ends straight across... 4) (as per the desired application) we then slice the manufactured tubing to the width of the potential slug (i.e. 15559-slug) 5) Deburr/tumble the part to remove burrs... 6) we then roll form the part 7) Then we stretch form the part via pie shaped segments to the finished seal (i.e. 15559) 8) Then press the seal to provide the proper height via a pulse press 9) Then the part is heat treated (however this would not be part of your designed machine or process) Ideally, we would like to have a machine or a developing process that 1st would produce the slug most likely from prewidth coil strip (i.e. 0.228"+/- 0.001") as illustrated on drawing 15559-slug. 2nd if possible roll form the part into the desired circle diameter, butt weld via either using plasma or laser (automatically)...then move the part either a system automatically or by hand to a stretch forming machine that would roll the slug into a finished seal (i.e. p/n 15559). The necessary deburring would be a secondary operation. In addition it would be good to have a servo-device that would allow for changes in the diameter, width and thickness as designs change.... Noting also that the ideal plan is to have a machine or a suitable supplier capable of producing between 1M-5M annually of the 15559 configuration. In addition, it would be again advantageous to support a creditable machine that had the flexibility to increase or decrease the diameter of the slug and width while working with thickness changes (0.005"-0.006") for a growing line of new products with the potential of more or less the volume of the 15559 seal. Special Note: If you have a better lower cost process that what has been described above, we are willing to hear your proposed methods. The idea here is low cost high repeatability with consistent quality control. Material price would be $20/lb. Use this figure to establish your unit pricing.
