Inquiry (采购产品): question re:antique pinking shears Hi! I found a pair of what appear to be antique pinking shears. They are VERY unusual. The stamp on them says... "Royal Brand Cutter Company" Those 4 words placed on the outside of the 4 sides of a long, narrow diamond shape, with the words "SHARP CUTTER" in the center of the diamond, and "MADE IN USA" below the diamond. The shears have handles the same as regular scissors today. It does not, however, have 'blades' that cut against each other like regular scissors. It has some gears which, when the handles are 'pumped' the gears rotate a wheel which has a zig-zag shape. The wheel rolls along a flat wheel, cutting fabric or paper in a zig-zag design. Very strange. I have never seen anything like them, so I am investigating. Might you be able to help? I would like to know if your company was ever known as the "Royal Brand Cutter Co." thanks, Joanne PLEASE do not contact me at this e-mail address & do not give it to anyone else. I am not allowed to get personal e-mail at work. thanks! **** Hidden Message ***** Joanne Coughlin 6505 Beverly Blvd Everett, WA 98203 USA Company: my curious self E-mail: joanne.e.coughlin@verizon.com **** Hidden Message ***** joanne.e.coughlin@verizon.com
