Would you please briefly explain the quality grades of commercial zinc rods and also the grade of the zinc in the 1943 penny? Is zinc used in any of the types of batteries, if so, what zinc grades might be used? What types of acids, alkali, vinegars, chemicals, and minerals when associated with zinc and copper might interact to produce the maximum amount of electric current while allowing and yet limiting the excessive corrosion of zinc and copper?
