I showed that a whole series of present methods for the SCA measurements is a specific kind of the methods suggested. The main features of methods suggested are listed below. a. The polarization measurements do not require the phase measurements, and the measuring process itself can be easily automated. b. No prior information is required for polarization parameters of certified antennas. There is no requirement on obligatory presence (among the certified antennas) of the antennas with linear or circular polarization. c. The measurements in the far-field region impose sharply reduced requirements to the auxiliary antennas. The variation of polarization parameters and patterns of any SCA under examination can be performed by using any two auxiliary antennas with other ellipticity (but preliminarily certified in ellipticity and parameter b12). This circumstance reduces the requirements to the auxiliary antennas and decreases their nomenclature if the measurements at different frequencies are necessary. d. The error of measurements depends only upon the instrumental error (certainly, the measurements under ideal conditions of zero echo signal are assumed in this case) and are independent of the error introduced by the polarization parameters of auxiliary antennas. Moreover, we cannot exclude the instrumental error, which is connected with the transition from one measuring instrumental scale to another. e. The truth of measurement results can be verified at each point of measurement. This verification excludes the possible influence of sudden factors on the results of measurements and enhances their reliability. f.
