Inquiry (采购产品): plastic- marine application fastener Good Day, I'm searching for preferrably an American Manufacturer of a fastener for a marine environment application. Perhaps a plastic rivet, or push thru, blind type might ease and expedite installation. Generally the specs: Length 2" to 2 3/4 inches Moderate to heavy duty, I'm estimating 3/8 inch diameter min. for the shank. One inch very min. diameter 'head' and / or washer application. Blind side, if type used, must have nearly equivalent holding potential, as the material being fastened will be subject to torsional stress in transit to site and in installation and could possibly tear with insufficient surface holding area. Thousands of fasteners will be required, application rate estimated roughly at 2 per inch. Structures 300 feet to 1/4 mile long. Prototype is presently in developement. Without a NonDisclosure Agreement in Place I can not be much more specific. Both sides of the material to be fastened are exposed, a time/ labor effective method of fastening is a must later, although not for the immediate construction.
