Engagement length: How far (including the lead-in chamfer) does the pin have to be inserted into the part with the interference fit to achieve the shear strength that is shown in your literature? 2.) Extraction force: How much hold (in lbf) does the pin have if the pin is installed in steel? In chromium copper?
