Dear sirs: Here′s what we need in the anthracite: · Quantity: 119 Mtn · Destination port: Any port in the Republic of Panama · Payment term: Irrevocable L/C at sight · Inspection: To be determined later · Shipment time: Immediate · Standards to fulfill: AWWA B100-96: Standards for filtering materials (This is VITAL for the customer to receive the product) · Size: 0.9 to 1.0 mm · Uniformity coeficient (UC): max 1.5 · Security sheet: required · Packing: superbags of 2000 pounds (the bags MUST be new), each with 4 handles made of polyethilene or similar, able to resist the weight of the bag completely filled, and at the bottom, a sleeve for self unload. All bags must be printed in the factory with the legend “Autoridad del Canal de Panamá”, the name of the product, net weight, name of the maker, standard of the AWWA and final destination (“Planta potabilizadora de Monte Esperanza”, 32 Mtn or “Planta potabilizadora de Miraflores”, 87 Mtn) · Usage: The anthracite will be used to replace the lost anthracite in the filters of the water treatment plants of Miraflores and Monte Esperanza (Canal area, Republic of Panama).
