Khor Az Zubayr Power Plant Inquiry (采购产品): Khor Az Zubayr Power Plant - Basra, Iraq - Oil Water Separator Attached is a preliminary specification for an oil water separator for the subject project in Basra, Iraq. Please provide a budgetary quote for the separator to me no later than close of business Tuesday (11/2/04). FluorAMEC will be responsible for transportation costs from point of manufacture. OILY WATER SEPARATOR DATA SHEET FOR BUDGETARY QUOTATION A budget quote is requested for the design, fabrication and supply of one (1) baffled gravity-type API oily water separator for the removal of free oil from power plant waste water. The unit will be installed at the Khor Az Zubayr Power Plant 20 km southwest of Basra, Iraq. The unit shall be designed and built per API 421. The requirements for the oily water separator are as follows: Inlet flow: 23 m3/hr maximum, normally have variable flow. Effluent quality: 10 ppm or less of oil and grease. Design pressure (mechanical design): Atmospheric, Free standing hydro test pressure. Design temperature (mechanical design): 60 degC. Configuration: Cylindrical Installation: Below ground. Minimum included items: Coalescer baffles, internal piping, vents, inspection ports, manways, and instrument connections. Inlet flow pressure: By gravity. Outlet flow: Dual effluent pumps. Pumps shall be electric motor driven with 50 Hz motors and equipped with rail system to facilitate pump removal. Swing check valves provided on each pump’s discharge. Float sensors shall be provided to indicate high oil level. Materials of construction: Carbon steel vessel, single wall, welded, corrosion resistant coating, carbon steel appurtenances, supplier-recommended material for coalescer baffles. All dimensions shall be metric, except for piping connections which shall be per ANSI standards with English units. Thankyou Brian G.
