Inquiry (采购产品): Exploring Possibility for Actuator Trying to determine an alternative to a mechanical actuator on a new multi-million dollar piece of processing equipment. Need is for a mechanical stop that can vary by 0.01 (10 mils) over an installed length of 10 inches. Remembered about TERFENOL and found ETREMA. The ultimate device would accept a drive current and have a known deformation / length change so we could eliminate the need for any feedback sensor. Any comments or direction would be appreciate.
