I need a steel alloy that is safe for making skewers for meat grilling on an open fire or a broiler. I need stainless steel, safe for cooking. I am looking particularly for long square stainless steel rods that I can cut to desired lengths and make them into shish kebob skewers. the rods should be 3/16th inch thick. Do you have anything that will fit my description, or if you don't, do you know where I can get stainless steel square rods, safe for cooking that come in 10 or 12 feet lengths?
