Started a company named Degray Remodeling, a sole proprietorship. AREA ASSET/ COLLECTION MANAGER: 5/1997 - 1/1999: CASE INTERNATIONAL CORP., RACINE, WI. ? Responsible for conducting physical inventory audits and retail and wholesale collections at Case International Farm and Construction Equipment Dealerships. Territory included all of the Southeastern United States at any point in time. ? Managed over 40 million in floor-planned receivables including one of the world's largest construction dealer audits, Coastline Equipment. ? Worked closely with dealers to maintain an up-to-date inventory status and kept wholesale receivables current. ? Monitored trade-ins to insure that dollars floor planned did not exceed company requirements. ? Analyzed retail and lease contracts. ? Conducted Scott Truck and Tractor Audit, one of the largest audits in the United States for Agricultural and Construction equipment. TERRITORY MANAGER: 2/1990 - 7/1996: HI-LINE ELECTRIC CO., INC., DALLAS, TX. ? Traveled throughout Arkansas and sold electrical maintenance products to individual and retail customers. ? Built rapport with customers, resulting in a tripling of territory sales from $7000.00 to $22000.00 in first nine months on the job. Called on existing customers and cold call customers on a regular basis. ? The purpose of Hi-line was to sell service and not price. This was done successfully for seven years; longer than any other individual in this territory. CREDIT MANAGER: 10/1986 - 2/1990: BEN PEARSON ARCHERY, INC., PINEBLUFF, AR. ? Responsible for account receivables and direct operation of collection center with three direct reports. Territory responsibilities encompass the United States and accounts worldwide. ? Reviewed and evaluated credit applications and financial statements to minimize uncollectable debts and determine credit worthiness. ? Monitored and assisted with litigation on accounts referred to an attorney or collection agency. Filed liens and obtained personal guaranty forms to protect from bankruptcy. ? Worked extensively, and met with major retailers such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Target to reduce chargebacks and keep accounts current. ? Developed monthly receivable reports for upper management. ? Worked with banks preparing monthly reports recapping receivable balances, in which company loan support was based. ? Analyzed credit bureau reports using vendors such as TRW, Chilton and Transunion. Conducted wholesale inventory audits at Navistar International Truck dealerships and maintained retail and wholesale receivables in Eastern Oklahoma and S.E. Kansas.
