Inquiry (采购产品): Pump Problem We just had a new sewer system installed in our area. Many of us went with the Zoeller N270-B pump. All of the pumps are a brand new right out-of-the box. My neighbor just had a problem with his: it would not pump the water out even though the pump was running. The problem ended up being the screw in the plastic base were loose and almost out on the oposit side of the discharge tube and very loose on the other side. Instead of pumping the water out, it had blown the o-ring seal and was pumping the water out at the nearly 1/2" gap at the pump/base juction on the side opposite the discharge tube. I have two questions: 1) how could this happen? 2) why isn't the base made from cast iron?
