Inquiry (采购产品): Eu and Er compounds Dear Sir/Madam, We are intrested to buy one of the following compounds, Eu/EuN /Eu2O3/Er/Er2O3 or wire in order to sputter or evaporate. According to the MSDS the most difficult to handle is Eu metal. One of the consequences of its reaction with water is liberation of flammable and explosive hydrogen gas. For the moment our laboratory is not provided with very safe equipment to handle it and for this reason we want to look further for another precursor. About EuN, do you have an idea about the decomposition temperature? Ammonia and hydrogen gas are two of the decomposition products. Can be handled at atmospheric pressure? We are also interested to know some information about the wire in order to evaporate it, is it possible to be exposed to air? There are some precautions that we have to consider?
