Inquiry (采购产品): Copper for a kitchen We will be gutting our kitchen and remodeling this fall/winter. While visiting a pub near Indiana University last week, I saw their bar and tables were covered in copper. I asked the barkeep what was the maintenance involved in keeping the counters/tabletops so bright and he said, "daily Brasso"! I also asked how long the surface had been covered by the copper and he said, "well over 20 years". We would like to incorporate this look as a cutting board and work surface on each side of the new range/burner surface that we'll be installing. I understand copper has inherhent disinfectant properties as well. Is this practical in a home environment? Do you have copper that we could purchase and give to our contractor? I grew up in Cleveland Heights and yours was the first site I saw when starting my research! Shazaam! The surface area we'd like is about 2' x 2' and in two areas (each side of range top.) We're clueless as to what the thickness should be for this installation. We will not mind the maintenance and the dings and dents will only lend to the charm of the effect. Thanks so much in advance for your response! We look forward to hearing from you.
