Inquiry (采购产品): Shipping Container RFQ Good afternoon: We are in search of a company who might be able to help us with a packaging problem. We extrude a delicate plastic tube for several customers requiring us to pack it in polybags and the polybags are then packed in plastic tubes and capped. This process maintains the straightness of the tubing and helps avoid kinks. The plastic packing tubes are then placed into a crate and shipped both within the U.S. and to other countries such as Costa Rica. The problem we experience is the extremely rough handling of the crates resulting in potential damage to product or at the very least destruction of the crates. We would like to find a shipping solution that is both economical and secure. The inside dimensions of the container must be 36” X 34” X 108” LONG. Currently the crates weigh about 350 lb. empty. With the product they can weigh as much as 1,000 lb. The casters are required because some facilities do not have a means of moving the crates. We typically have anywhere from 8 to 16 crates on hand and/or in transit. If this is something you could help us with, please contact me.
