Lamp Donation Inquiry (采购产品): Lamp Donation To Whom It May Concern: I am the Energy Conservation Manager for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The Parish is holding it’s sixth annual Senior Citizen Exposition on October 25, 2006 in which our Department of General Services will once again have an energy conservation booth stressing the importance of conserving energy and saving money. In 2004, our booth was a huge success. The senior citizens were genuinely very interested in the information that we provided. Many of our senior citizens have suffered great losses since then due to Hurricane Katrina, and therefore we hope to make this years booth even larger and another great success. We are seeking donations of medium base self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps and/or promotional items (light bulb items, pens, key chains, drink holders, cups, etc.) which you may have available that would attract seniors to our booth to assure that they receive this important information. Any other ideas that you may have that would be useful in our efforts, for example, literature, etc. would also be appreciated. We will have a demonstration comparing incandescent and compact fluorescent lamps with cost analysis and lamp life information, to inform them that although these lamps are more costly up front for a person on a tight budget, they provide payback on the investment in a short time. We have installed analog watt meters on the board so that they can easily see that the fluorescents draw less power. Please inform me of whether or not you can assist us in achieving our goal of attracting and informing every senior citizen at the show of how important it is for every one of us to conserve energy. I do realize that this is just over a month away, however I just learned that we would be holding the event again this year. Of course, last year's event had to be cancelled.
