Inquiry (采购产品): OSU ChallengeX Team Hello, My name is Kris Sevel and I'm the powertrain team leader from the Ohio State ChallengeX team. The goal of our team is to take a stock Chevrolet Equinox and convert it into a hybrid vehicle. One of the main components that we are in the process of installing right now is the Belted Starter Alternator. This will be a 15 hp electric motor belted directly to the drive pulley in place of the stock alternator. It needs to transmit torque of up to 130 Nm (96 ft-lbs) without slipping at all, because it will be starting/stopping the engine. The engine redlines at 4500 RPM. If you are willing, we'd love some help in designing our belt and pulley system. Width of the belt and pulleys is a major design factor because we are close to the frame rail.
