Custom Greeting Card Packaging Inquiry (采购产品): Custom Greeting Card Packaging I own a greeting card company that, hopefully, will be looking to purchase large quantities of some form of retail packaging. Let me explain what, in a perfect world, I would like. Please let me know if this is the type of product you can custom make. Basically, each card is on 8.5 x 11 card stock, when folded equaling 8.5 x 5. Almost all of the cards are horizontal (i.e., unlike most traditional greeting cards). On the face of each card are inkjet printed photo-images printed directly on the card stock. I would like to package these in sets of 4. It is very important that EACH card, however, be visible to the purchaser (so, a typical greeting card set box would NOT work), because each card has important unique characteristics. I can go with vinyl sleeves, which allow me to insert 2 cards on each side, back to back, so that to see all four, one needs to look at one side, then turn it around. However, I think the vinyl sleeves "look" cheap, or perhaps a better term, utilitarian...but not necessarily "nice" for high end retail purchases. Also, I would prefer that all 4 be visible, preferably in their entirety, on one side only. I have several ideas. Please let me know if any of the ideas are the type of thing you make or could make. My first idea is to have some form of almost flat holder/box with a see through cover/top (similar to an old LP album thickness; in theory it would only need to be as thick as a card and envelope)), or something all plastic/vinyl (but with some rigidity). Also, though, I would obviously not want the cards to slip and fall behind each other, so they would need to be "fixed" in place some way. This might be through an insert/interior container (but I am not sure if that would solve the problem because the cards are very thin and still might move just underneath the surface of the box), OR some type of light adhesive double sided tape attached to a piece of heavy card stock/board on the inside and the back of the cards. Because of the size of the envelopes, I think this would need to have dimensions of about 11-12" x 17-18" (I suppose each envelope does not have to be behind each card; all the envelopes could be placed in one "pile" behind all of the cards, assuming the packaging thickness could handle that; they are obviously very thin, though). Ultimately, the idea would be to have basically flat packaging, allowing all cards to be seen. I recognize though that this is a very large size and may not be feasible from a production standpoint or retail/shelving standpoint. 2d Idea: Forego having all four cards visible on one side, and instead have two visible on one side, and 2 visible on the other. I assume this would require a full PVC or otherwise transparent box, but would reduce the size requirements to about 8.5 x 11. I envision each of the above two alternatives as using something thinner than a “box,” although I am not sure what you would call it. I guess it is more like a “sleeve.” Or, maybe it could be a box as long as the box was very thin (e.g. less than 1/4 inch) Alternatively, I could have just one card show on the top, and through the back have an insert card that shows in a much smaller size all four imprints. That box would need to only fit 5.5 x 8.5 card, with slightly larger envelopes. That would also have to be transparent on both sides. Anyway..they are my thoughts.
