I have been assigned a project to investigate the use and purchase of the appropriate strain gages in an area of our gas pipeline in Albany, NY. In 2001 a previous engineer had a similar need for strain gages and used model #CEA-06-250UW-350. I was wondering if you could send me some information about strain gages? How do they work?
