Inquiry (采购产品): Plastic Plating Hello I work for the Automotive division of 3M in Minnesota. We have supplied chrome plated parts to the Automotive industry for years. However, the chrome plating process has never been a step that we actually manufactured. I have a part that I need to supply to Ford Motor Company as a Service part. This part is a plastic bezel (base and frame) for a part that we then apply another 3M product to. This particular part say Lariat and it can be found on several older Ford vehicles. I'm looking for someone with the cabability to handle a plastic part that is about 1 inch wide, 2 1/2 inches long and about 1/4 inch thick. My volume would be around 1,000 parts and there is a good chance this is a one time opportunity. Since it's a service part, going onto older vehicles only, the quantity I'm asking to have built could last for the remaining life of the part.
