P/N SCA-4-P Spring Clip (Material: 1074 High Carbon Spring Steel, Rockwell 15n 84 to 86) Required Finish: Black Chromate (Option, Black Die) Zinc Plate (Electrolytic – Barrel Plate) .00025/. 0003 thickness. Black Chromate after Plating, (.0002 min. to be maintained after chromate). Embrittlement Relief: Bake 4 to 6 Hrs. @ 400 Degrees F, within 4 hours of plating. (Parts must not exhibit Hydrogen Embrittlement). EFFORTS SHOULD BE MAINTAINED TO MINIMIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN TO THE SPRING CLIPS DURING THE PLATING PROCESS.
