Inquiry (采购产品): Crankcase ventilator Hello, I am having a problem with crankcase ventilation/oil separation on a 1999 Ford F-150, 5.4 litre V-8, with an ATI Procharger Supercharger. The supercharger is running 9 psi of boost. The factory crancase ventilator used to run from the valve cover to the air box. Now it runs from the valve cover to the intake elbow (about 12" away) just upstream from the supercharger. The problem that I'm having is excessive oil consumption, especially at higher RPMs. On a recent trip where I had to climb a number of long grades with the engine turning 4,000 RPMs, I used 6 quarts of oil in 500 miles. On previous outings I have had the crancase breather hose become detached from either the valve cover or the intake elbow, and my entire engine compartment gets covered in oil. I have had a compression check done to see if I had a bad ring, but the compression is normal. I am looking for a ventilator/oil separator that will drain back into the engine. Please let me know of any products that you have that may work in my application.
