Inquiry (采购产品): covered rubber thread We are seeking detailed in formation on an artificial rubber that would take the place of and have much the same characteristics as natural latex. We would need to cover a 28 gauge material with polyester yarns and have a stretch of 200% and 300%. The rubber must be made of non toxic materials since the covered product will be used on a food product and must be able to withstand cooking temperatures and not melt. Presently we cover the natural latex used in our production as follows: 2 ends 28 gauge (natural latex) covered by (bottom) 2 ends of 300/1 or 1 end of 300/2 textured polyester and, (top) 2 ends of 16/2 or 18/2 spun polyester. We require this product for our facility in Jinhua, China and the estimated usage is 120-150,000 kg annually. Thank you.
