Psalm 105:3 My name is Belinda Sissom and I am a member of Warsaw Baptist Church in Warsaw, Kentucky. Our website is www.warsawbaptistchurch.com .The reason for this email is that our church is planning a Block party for a community outreach event this coming June 15, 2006. The Theme for the Block Party will be Power Quest “Revving up people for Christ” and our spiritual verse will be from Acts 1:8. Continuing with this theme there will be games and activities for all ages centered on NASCAR and other Motorsports. We will also be providing food and refreshments for all that attend, free of charge. The Block Party will be located approx. 5 miles from the Kentucky Speedway. It will be held the Thurday before the Busch Race at the Kentucky Speedway so we are hoping to reach not only our community but also the people who will be in town for the race. To provide our community with this outreach opportunity we will need help, and that is where your company can make a huge difference. We are seeking companies like yours to donate items that can be used as gifts, prizes, food or refreshments throughout the day. These donations could be made in the form of money, products or sponsorships. We will appreciate anything your company can offer to help make this outreach opportunity a success. If for any reason donated items are not used on the day of the Block Party we as a church will make sure the items go to other charities or community groups. We believe in passing our blessings on to other people who are in need.
