Inquiry (采购产品): Need injection molding services Hi, I run a pet product company right here in Batavia, IL. We are about to start producing a plastic, injection molded product. We currently manufacture a die cast aluminum product in Taiwan/China. We already sell a popular product to PETsMART and are growing our busines to include the entire domestic pet supplies market. Our buyer at PETsMART is already firmly interested in our new plastic product. Frankly, my assumption was that manufacturing would be cheapest in China. But as I look around at molded plastic products, I realize that a good deal of them are still being manufactured right her in the good old USA. And with fuel prices (ships bunker) at the current rates, making the product close to our Elk Grove Village warehouse could be a big plus. Our product is a small hand tool -- a litter scoop to be exact -- in two pieces, possibly three. I would LOVE to make it right here in the US, let alone in Batavia, my home town, but will need a quote. I have CAD drawings in IGES format and I have e-drawings. I can get what ever format you want. I even have a STL prototype I can show you. I will also need a mold produced and have already gotten quotes from Taiwan and China.
