Inquiry (采购产品): Structural fiberglass or plastic We are a small manufacturer of shutters and other window coverings. We are looking for structural plastic stock (one manufgacturer in the industry uses pultruded fiberglass) to be used for stiles, rails, and louvers in manufacturing Bahama shutters. This material would need to be able to be painted. We have a small sample of a form for stiles and rails that would minimally work for us. It is 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" and mostly hollow. 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" would be better. The wider sides have interior reinforcements that run the length of the material. The short side is smooth inside. We want to be able to rout openings for louvers in that short side. Louver material could be either solid or hollow. Strength vs. weight is a factor for us.
