Inquiry (采购产品): Sintered Iron Clutches Hello, I work for EIP Tuning of Westminster, Maryland USA and we are an automotive performance parts manufacturer that is interested in purchasing sintered iron material clutches. It is our understanding that this type of material is used for industrial applications such as large farm and construction equipment that run a dry clutch set up. We have experimented with this material for racing applications years ago and found it to be suitable for some specific applications. It is our hope that we can find an industrial clutch application already produced that can be modified for our current racing applications. Our specific clutch application has a 240mm outer diameter. We can purchase a disc that is larger and machine it down to the correct spec so we are flexible in overall diameter size. The sintered iron disc pads need to match the example shown in the pictures supplied. From pad inner edge to opposing pad inner edge it must measure 6 3/8” in order to engage our pressure plate contact surface correctly. This means the pad has a surface width of approximately 1.5”. The thickness of the sintered iron pad material is .310”.
