Single Effect Evaporator Inquiry (采购产品): Single Effect Evaporator The Application: Large volume of warm and saturated Nitrogen gas from a Solid Fuel Propellant plant has to be cooled. Due to Nitrogen blanketing in the plant, the gas picks up moisture, traces of Sulphur and Potassium bearing compounds and heat to become warm (55 C). The cooled and cleaned Nitrogen gas will be partially returned to the main plant while the rest of the gas will be released to the atmosphere. The main project is under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Nitrogen gas cooling and cleaning system will only be a supporting plant. Technical Specifications: We propose to cool and clean the saturated and warm Nitrogen gas in a THREE / FOUR STAGE SINGLE EFFECT EVAPORATOR UNIT. (Please refer attached schematic diagram). During the cooling & cleaning process we expect to evaporate some water from seawater by maintaining necessary vacuum in each stage of the evaporator. The desired temperature of the low-pressure vapor that will be evolved from each stage of the evaporator is indicated. The material of construction of the heat transfer pipes will be Stainless Steel and the Shell will be made of Carbon steel with Rubber lining. Total Volume of Saturated and Warm Nitrogen Gas to be cooled: 340,000 cubic meters per hour Around 400 Tons per hour Temperature of Saturated and Warm Nitrogen Gas to be cooled: 55 degree C Quantity of water vapor present in the Nitrogen Gas to be cooled: 45,000 Kilograms per hour. Heat of condensation that will be liberated during the process of cooling the Nitrogen gas from 55 degree C to 40 degree C has to be used to evaporate some water from seawater under vacuum. Seawater temperature for cooling in the final stage of evaporator: 32 – 35 degree C Abundant quantity of Warm seawater at 55 C and 45 C is also available from the main plant, where seawater was used as coolant water. This warm seawater can be used in the evaporator to generate more low-pressure water vapor from seawater. Desired temperature of the low-pressure vapor from first stage: 55 degree C Desired temperature of the low-pressure vapor from second stage: higher than 50 degree C Desired temperature of the low-pressure vapor from third stage: higher than 45 degree C Desired temperature of the low-pressure vapor from fourth stage: higher than 40 degree C Condensed water generated during the process of cooling the Nitrogen gas has to be collected separately for further treatment and recycle. Please ensure that the condensed water is trapped and separated from the Nitrogen gas in suitable separators made of FRP or polypropylene. Please specify the quantity of condensed water that will be generated in each stage of the evaporator. Please specify clearly vacuum to be maintained in each stage of the evaporator and the quantity and temperature of the low-pressure vapor that will be generated by each stage of the evaporator. Temperature and quantity of seawater for final disposal has to be specified. We propose to maintain the vacuum in each stage of the evaporator by installing individual and separate (MVC) Mechanical Vapor Compression unit connected to each stage of the evaporator. We solicit your suggestion and comments in this regard. Please treat the complete Nitrogen Cooler as a whole unit. Therefore please consider all pumps with electric motor, centrifugal blowers with electric motors, relevant and necessary piping and ducting within battery limits, instrumentation and controls as part of your scope of supply. Enclose schematic flow diagram indicating operating parameters like temperature, pressure and flow of low-pressure vapor, condensed water, Nitrogen gas, seawater etc. The offer should clearly state the utilities required especially electric power requirement in KW. Please state maximum non – proprietary nature of technical information, like volume of each stage of the evaporator, volume occupied by the heat exchanger in each stage of the evaporator. In case you feel that the volume of saturated and warm Nitrogen gas is too large to be handled by one Three / Four stage Single Effect Evaporator, then you can suggest / recommend two separate but identical Three / Four stage Single Effect Evaporator operating in parallel. Send your Budgetary offer with commercial terms and conditions clearly specified and stated. Please consider manufacture and assembly of the major part of the Nitrogen Cooler in India under your technical collaboration - to be more competitive and to save on transportation, import custom duty etc. For any clarifications on the enquiry, please contact: S.KUMAR CORWEAR ENGINEERING, 18 – 13 – 5, Indra Nagar, Chandrayanagutta Cross Roads, Hyderabad 500 005 INDIA Tel.: 91 040 5550 6558 Mobile: 984 888 9637 E – mail address: corwear@sify.com slv@satyam.net.in After compilation of your budgetary offer as per the enquiry, please send copy to: TCE CONSULTING ENGINEERS LIMITED, Raj Plaza, Second Floor, Lal Bahadhur Shastri Marg, Vikhroli West, Mumbai – 400 083, INDIA.
