Inquiry (采购产品): High Temp Tape Hi, I'm interested in what you have in the way of high temperature tapes (430F min capability for 1 hour) that could serve as a means of "tamper-proofing" the adjustment of a V-band clamp nut on a rotating slip joint, while at the same time insure a means of restoring the angular adjustment of the rotating slip joint if the "seal" was ever broken for a necessary manufacturing reason. The tape must be a mild deterrent to adjustment of the band clamp, like a security seal, but be easily torn if adjustment to the nut or slip joint is necessary for any reason without pulling the adhesive loose on the two parts that are clamped together. I envision the tape would be attached to a cast aluminum housing for about an inch, wrapped over a clamp nut and screw, and then attached to a cast iron housing for about an inch. The width of the tape might be on the order of 1/2-inch to 3/4-inch. This tape would primarily be for in-plant use only and would not have long term use by an end-customer. The environment would be on a diesel engine during assembly and test, and subject to fuel and oil.
