Relevant information: Suction Volume: 880 ACFM Suction Pressure: 25 psia Suction Temperature: 114 F Gas MW: 45 Cp/Cv: 1.1196 Z: .9790 Reqd Discharge Presssure: 100 psia Questions: 1. Is this an application for a centrifugal or a reciprocating compressor? 2. Can this be done with a single-stage compressor? 3. What is the expected discharge temperature? 4. What is the estimated horsepower requirement? Client is now making a cost estimate for budget purposes. I am a chemical engineer and know only enough about compressors to be dangerous. Would appreciate any help you can give.
