Inquiry (采购产品): Fin Tube Availability I’m working on an Air Cooler Standardization Project as a consultant for a local Tulsa company. This project involves the use of stainless steel tubes with embedded (G type) aluminum fins. These units are small, with short tubes (no more than 4’ long). At this time we do not need pricing, but rather availability information, on which to base the designs. We are interested in fin tubes that use available fin stock, such to avoid (if possible) the need to purchase special strip. The tube wall thickness we plan to use is .095” wall, unless this needs to change for finning purposes. Short of having to special order strip, what fin height, thickness, alloy and fins per inch are most common or readily available for this range of tube OD’s? If ordering special strip is not avoidable, how much does this impact the cost and or delivery time for a small quantity of tubes on any one order? Is there a minimum footage order? If so for what combination of embedded fin configurations. We are not interested in footed fins, so please limit the information to embedded fins.
