Inquiry (采购产品): Product idea for adhesive bandages I have enjoyed using regular adhesive bandages every since I was a little kid. Whenever I have a minor cut or wound, I quickly put on a regular adhesive bandage in order to stop the bleeding. However, as I began to grow into an adult I, just like most Americans, had to go to a medical clinic for immunizations. I started to notice that when I received a shot the doctor would put a cotton ball over the area where I received the shot before putting a regular adhesive bandage on it. The doctor would do so in order to soak up any blood that the bandage pad could not adsorb. After I noticed this act, I began thinking about how this process could be done much more easily. I then realized that if there were a type of adhesive bandage that contained a cotton ball in it, instead of the adhesive bandage pad, doctors would not have to worry about placing the cotton ball under the adhesive bandage. The cotton ball would already be included within the bandage and would prevent blood leakage. As a result, I decided to patent an adhesive bandage of this sort. I think it would be very helpful for doctors because it would save them time. Furthermore, this adhesive bandage can also be sold to the public. For instance, if someone had too much blood from a cut or wound that could not be absorbed by the average adhesive bandage pad, they could use this bandage. During this point in time my patent is pending. If you would like I could send you a copy of my filing receipt as proof of my patent. Although my patent is pending I was told that I could still market my product by the technology department in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
