Inquiry (采购产品): Senior Design Estimate Hello. My name is Scott McReynolds and I am currently a senior in the civil engineering program at the University of Missouri - Rolla. For our senior design project we are designing an upgrade for a wastewater treatment plant in Florida. Right now we are trying to put together some preliminary cost data. The current plant uses an activated sludge process and operates around 0.45 mgd (ADF). We currently have 3 design options for the upgrade to around 4.5 mgd (ADF). Any cost information you could provide for any of these options would be greatly appreciated. Option 1: Simply increase the activated sludge process to handle the increased flow Option 2: Use a trickling filter as biological treatment for the new portion of sewage intake Option 3: Use a combined system (trickling filter prior to activated sludge) Preliminary treatment would include screening and possibly a grit chamber. Post biological treatment includes backwash filters and a chlorine contact basin. Thanks for your help.
