Inquiry (采购产品): MAGNETIC PLATE BRAKES I beleive that diesel/electric and flywheel/electric trains should use magnetic plate brakes that would be lowered to within a millimeter of the rails to use magnetic attraction and not friction to stop the trains. Third-rail systems would feed some of the power to the brake plates to stop commuter trains and subway trains faster without producing a sound. Also, plate brakes would cause the trains to stop smoother since the power would be adjusted to slow the trains steadily instead of suddenly. Water on the rails wouldn't diminish the stopping capability either which means ice during the winter would be no trouble. Plate brakes would be faster and safer than conventional brakes as long as there is continual power to them. **** Hidden Message ***** Rick Badman 1879 Crompond Road, Apt.
