We are bidding a vacuum cure furnace for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. and are looking for a contractor to install the equipment for us. The job will involve unloading equipment from two flatbed trucks, assembly of oven, natural gas and electrical (480V/3/60)connections to customer provided services, piping and installation of vacuum and compressed air system. This is a vacuum cure oven with a total of 36 vacuum ports and 6 pressure ports. All piping is threaded construction. Each port also has electrical transducers and air actuated solenoid valves. The wiring must be run back to the main control panel. Each port has a 1/2" dia. pipe that extends through the wall of the oven. Contract will drill each hole and weld each 1/2" pipe in place.
