Inquiry (采购产品): Industrial spring balance/counterweights Dear Sir, I am Ananth Arkal, a design engineer working at Minus40 in Sydney, Aust. We are designers of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems. For a certain project, we have a few fire doors which, currently shut too fast for our liking. Hence we have thought of having a counterweight spring balance with a brake or of the like, so that the fire door is shut gradually and retracting it would also be easy. We require three such counterweights with two of them having a counter weight of approx 66 kgs (146 lb) and the other having a counterweight of approx 80 kgs (177 lb) We intend to hang the counter weight off the fire door ( in its open position) to the ceiling. Hence the cable would release when the fire door is closing. Could you please suggest an appropriate product in your range? DO you have a local supplier or at least a distributor in Australia? If so, could you pass me the contact details? If not, could you please give me a quote on all the above counter weights, their availability and a shipping cost if we were to air freight them?
