Inquiry (采购产品): your proposal Dear Mr.Hatenboer, Company KONEKS doo from Novi Sad (Serbia) represents VERO MAGNETICS (Belgium) and ROCHEMA (Holland) companies, with their CEPI production programme, on former Yugoslavia market. Now, we are preparing the offer to some cooling tower system which has several problems: 1. hard scale, 2. corrosion 3. algae and bacteria (biofouling). With CEPI units we will avoid the hard scale and corrosion problems but there is an algae and bacteria presence which we are not abble to prevent using magnetics conditioners. Because the system is open, soya particles (from ambient air) enter the cooling tower and presented in the water become very good food for algae reproduction. The recycled cooling systeh has not blow down system and during the circulation, recycled water becomes too concetrated. Also the pH value ryses and becomes 8,8 – 9,5. With adequate blow down system, Cepi and Magfil units the problem will be attenuated but not solved as we want. We have to propose some kind of particles filtration and some chemicals (flash addition) for bacteria and algaes. The presence is next: - koliform bacteria (MPN) - E.coli - Proteus class - Salmonella class - Streptococcus faecalis - Pseudomonas aeruginosa - Sulphyto reduced clostridae - Staphylococcus aureus Make-up water: pH 8 Electric conductivity 0.6 – 0.8 mS/cm Total hardnes 0.3-0.8 odH We have to prpose some solution for algae production and to avoid their growth. Some kind of filtration will reduce algae growth and if they appear in future chock doses of some chemicals will ruin them. In last 3 years many companies tried to solve the algae and bacteria problem in Soyaprotein but without succes. In my opinion they did not succeed because they did not avoid the algae growth. Unfortunately we have not much time and have to make our proposal in next few days. Considering your experience in water treatment I hope that you will be abble to make us some proposal.
