Inquiry (采购产品): injection mold for plastic 2-cavity part We have a 2-cavity (male and female locating buttons) injection mold that a local injection mold shop runs on a 50 ton press. The tool is ~15 yrs old. We do not have a tooling print, or a part print. We do know, however, which parts are "good" functionally. My question is: would it be enough to give you a set, or two, of these parts that functionally work in our process to have you do a CMM inspection on them, so that we can generate a blueprint? We want to be able to perform an incoming inspection of these parts, as we are experiencing some variability, due to what seems to be mold wear, or perhaps press settings - to the point to where the 2 parts are not fitting together properly.
