Inquiry (采购产品): Gear & Rack I'm in search of gears and rack combo for a unique project. This project is in the prototype phase, but what I'm attempting to do is get an idea of what physical dimensions to settle on. As for the application, the gear which will be perhaps 1/2" in diameter(give or take 1/4") will only run back and forth over area of the rack that is about 1" long. Perhaps as many as a half dozen times a second. And the gear and rack should actually be made of an electrically conductive material like Phosphor-bronze(since the gear/rack combination has to complete a circuit). Since I know nothing about gears it's up in the air to me what the grade of material, pitch, pressure angle, face width, thickness and Length should be. though I assume that there would be a lot of flexiblity in these criteria. The big problem is that I'll need to also need to have an identical rack made from plastic(Delrin), which of course is electrically non-conductive. And I assume that I'll have to find another supplier for this. Any way, for now I am trying to get an idea what gear/rack cobo will work for my needs, and would appreciate any recommendations on what products you supply that would benefit my goals. Thanks a lot.
