Composite Tooling Information Inquiry (采购产品): Composite Tooling Information Attn: Bill Wolfe Your name was given to me by Don Young of Buckley Industries. He recommended you as being the right people to support us on this insulation material inquiry. We are investigating stand-alone, integrally / internally heated tooling which will be insulated from the outside. We envisage this outside insulation material being in blanket form and drapable, so it will conform to the outside dimensions of the male, barrel-type tooling. After cure of the composite structure, the insulation blanket will be removed, another composite structure laid up on the male tool, and the blanket insulation material re-applied to the out side of the barrel tooling. The center of the tooling will contain the heating apparatus. We are interested in obtaining Qty six 8.5 x 11 inch samples of your blanket insulation materials, capable of sustaining a 360 deg F cure temp, with intermittent 400 deg F temporary ramp-up temperature, for approximately 3 hours. These samples will be used to evaluate temperature retention ability, drapability, weight and handling ability, durability, and general suitability for use in the integrally heated tooling application described above. The insulation blankets will not have any intended contact with ac or dc electricity - such circuitry will be located away from the insulation blankets, generally in the heater and air circulation units, or other process machinery, which will be at either end of the tooling.
