Inquiry (采购产品): Cast Sample Pump Part To: Bill Pollard I sent you by mail the sample casting we talked about this week. I did look at the print closely.Hand written on it were three part numbers with material designations: Part 5405D - Phos Free Cast Iron Part 5405DS - EN56A, BS1630A These two parts end up being chrome plated. Part 5405F - F.V. 520 This part is heat treated at 1050 C, Air Cooled - Condition harden to 42 min Rockwell C. From what I have found in my research this week, the EN56A is Type 410 Stainless and the F.V.520 is 17-4 PH stainless. I don't know what BS1630A is, can you find that grade designation somewhere. In my hand written note I referred to "FB520" grade, this should have been "FV520" Please check the hardness of the part I sent you, you may want a micro, too.
