Inquiry (采购产品): flex actuated switches Hello, Who should I contact at your company about this? I have recently posted images of a prototype demonstrating a patented flex-actuated switch technology at http://home.earthlink.net/~barkingpo/sensorpics.html This technology can be used to make very small paper thin switches in a flexible circuitry laminate. Arrays of such switches can also be used to digitize shape and changing shape. Flex-actuated bistable dome switches are actuated by flexure of the material connected to their edges as opposed to direct pressure. The have a very low profile. They can be embedded in flexible materials for protection and to customize actuation pressure. They can be formed in rows or groups that can be used to monitor actuation pressure in multiple digital increments. Such switch groups could be programmable for variable or customized actuation. Thin one-piece flexible circuitry construction may offer advantages for multi switch arrays, perhaps lowering cost while offering greater flexibility in overall product design. Flexible construction also allows for contoured at-rest position. I am looking for a manufacturer interested in licensing this technology (US Patent 5563458- Apparatus and Method for Sensing Surface Flexure -old contact address).
